Final Thoughts

After looking at all the features NIU UQi GT is providing, it is safe to say, it is a lot better than most E-Bikes in the market.

Pricing

The pricing for the electric bike in Nepal may be near Rs. 2 lakhs and fifty thousand. Or it may even be more.

Now, do take the price estimation with a grain of salt. There is also the factor that the Nepal government is trying to promote electric vehicles. This has also made some premium electric bikes a lot more affordable.

As the hefty pricing does remind the riders about the high price Project Zero is charging as well. Even after the government did waver a lot of taxation on electric vehicles, Project Zero stays at the price of Rs 19 lakhs and Forty-nine thousand. This alone makes it seem like any other electric bike will be a lot cheaper than the one Project Zero tried to be.

Even if you were to look at the cheaper Project One, the price is nearly Rs 5 lakhs, its Rs 4 lakhs and ninety-five thousand to be precise. So, Yes, pretty much that does give the riders some hope that this futuristic, fresh version of the NIU electric bike will be a lot more affordable than what Yatri motorcycles are offering.

Design

Now, let us look into the design as well. The design is very futuristic. As said above, this design strays from the typical classic-looking electric bikes.

It takes this futuristic look that is very fresh in the electric bike genre. There are many futuristic-looking bikes in the fuel bikes but not in the electric bikes. Thus, having a cool, futuristic-looking electric bike does bring some freshness to the genre.

Energy Efficiency

Now, let us go over a bit of the energy efficiency of the electric bike. The electric bike has a top speed of 45 Kmph. This is very good for an electric bike. And to couple with it, the total amount of distance the rider can cover within a full charge is nearly 80 Km.

The charging time for the battery is relatively low given how powerful and large the battery powering the electric bike is. This also is a lot more appealing as, even though the battery is a very powerful one, relatively it has a very low charge time.

Release Date

The release date and pricing are yet to be completely given, but NIU does seem to plan on launching the NIU UQi GT within the next two weeks.

Competitions

NIU UQi GT is also going to have to compete with Yadea S-Like and Super Soco CUx electric bikes. Especially, Yadea Electric bikes as they have various electric bikes coming soon.
