Turn off paste options in word 2007

If  you Copy-Paste information in Word a small dynamic Paste Option menu appears next to the just pasted information, it distracts many but thankfully can be turned off.

1. Click on the Office utton and choose Word Options.

2. In the list of options choose Advaned in the left hand column.

3. Scrool through the various options until you get to the Cut, Copy, Paste, section.

4.Deselect Show past Options Button.

  • Wow! This is the biggest nuisance I have found in Excel, Word, and Outlook (which uses Word)...I have been trying "forever" to find a way to make the box go away. Why would MS make the default to show the options...I suppose it is shown just in case someone wants to have some little box covering up surrounding text!!!

    Thanks,
