wordpress 3.0With version 3.0, regular WordPress and WordPress MU are merged into WordPress 3. All betas of  WP 3.0 had Site Admin section in backend (even if upgraded from regular WordPress), but since RC and final release this option disappeared. It is a hidden part of WordPress 3.0 and has to be activated manually with a a few edits to a WordPress installations wp-config.php file. You need FTP or shell access to do it.

yes my wordpress weblog is recovered

Finally my wordpress website is recovered this morning. In previous post I wrote that its take around 20 min to setup but due to import problem from my local host it took long time. Actually when i try to import the attach file (image, video, multimedia) are not imported it said the 404 error for attach file and on my site the file(image) link are liked to my localhost. So to solve this I have edited the exported xml file from wordpress localhost, I replace the (http://localhost/ashesh.com.np/…) with (http://www.ashesh.com.np/…) . And for the attach file on wp-contain I manually transfer the uploads file form localhost to server from filezilla ftp transfer. Now finally my site is live and functioning superbest

Finally ready to clean my weblog on wordpress

Finally I’m ready to clean my weblog after long trial given to my blog.

Actually why I need to clean up is that, I have given lots core code twiks on earlier version and there are some problem on All in one seo plugin, that it didn’t show Title over right on my home page my all on one seo plugin. I tried to fix lot but its make other code to damage.

I’m sorry for the unconvinced. I think it will take around an hour to set up .

I’m waiting desperately for the new release of wordpress 3.0, to the fact it’s very important to upgrade and there are lots of new and interesting feature, I have written about this on earlier post.

ok, Now I will say what preparation I have done before, cleaning up by wordpress blog. Actually Im going to drop all the wordpress file and setup with new wordpress 3.o .  Although its easy to upgrade directly from wordpress dashbord but it dint solve my all in one seo home page problem. So I’m gong to install fresh copy of new release of wordpress. Read more…

Excited to update wordpress 3.0

Finally wordpress release the last version of wordpress 3.0. I’m exited to update with latest release of wordpress 3.0. Well guys there are tremendous fixes and improvement in the new release of wordpress 3.0. Some major feature are, the mearge of wordpress and MU. Now its possible to run one or million of website with single installation  of wordpress 3.0. New twenty ten theme is awesome, which is now default thame for wordpress 3.0, and it support all the feature on wordpress 3.0. With twenty ten wordpress default theme you have great control over it, header theme, background with color or image which can be tiled or expand throughout the site. As well the menu feature are awesome in wordpress 3.0. Well I think it’s better to show video from wordpress and not writing long here. Read more…
